Barney has done an amazing job with both our trees and lawn. He's an expert on all kinds of vegetation issues. Parts of our lawn were inundated with moss. We had used highly regarded local and national lawn care companies and had about given up trying to grow grass. Barney diagnosed the issue and within a year we had thick lush grass as you can see in the photo. Very reasonable pricing too.

Barney is certified—and has the tools—to work around power lines, and he trimmed some trees there. He took down small trees, trimmed more, assessed the health of several. Barney loves trees. I call him the tree whisperer. As one of his sidelines, he cleared two truckloads of wisteria from my property, leaving it looking like it did ten years ago. I’ve used his services three times and was always very satisfied. Before and after shots of wisteria removal below.

I have used Barney and his crew on many occasions over the years. On first meeting Barney, he took the time to research the trees and vegetation in the front and back yards. He explained each tree type and its characteristics and that some trees actually fold their leaves in a wind storm. Who knew? Several years ago, shortly after moving to Pittsboro, I saw 2 invasive trees on my property that I wanted removed. A friend had recommended Barney's Tree Experts so I hired them. They came and cut them down, removed all the wood and treated the stump. I couldn't believe how quickly they accomplished the job.
