One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Had a post op appointment that turned into something more serious. The Dr requested I be seen at any one of their locations on the 26th to monitor my eye. While I was sitting there for 30 min trying to wait for them tonget me an appointment, i decided ton leave and have them call me. Worst optometry experience of my life: Unnecessarily extensive check in process Asked ridiculous questions like sexual orientation, gender identity, etc You cannot even get glasses at this location The Dr hurt my eyelid when doing the exam Tech asked my name and bday twice Dr asked the same damn questions the tech asked me 5 minutes before Had to wait after the exam to leave Absolutely terrible...hard pass
For the past several years, I'd gone to the BDP E Southern location, knowing I'd be there for ~2.5 hours minimum for my annual exam. And more than once, they'd given me eyeglass prescriptions that were incorrect, making me go out of network to a different eye doctor so that I could get an accurate prescription. The surgery prep and surgery was excellent. All questions were answered and attention was paid to my essential tremors condition. I have one deep dissatisfaction with your process. We were put in a "storage area hallway" to wait for our turn before and after surgery prep. I've attached some pictures for your review. This didn't help my nerves as I waited for surgery nor did it do anything to calm my spirit. I felt like I was in a cattle call.
