One of the worst medical experiences of my life. My 14-year-old daughter needed an updated prescription as her glasses were not working well. Dr. Barnes told her to her face he thought she was making up not being able to see because he couldn’t find a prescription that helped her. He also told me it’s my fault that as a child I had not treated her for lazy eye and now she would never see well again. My daughter left in tears. I went on 11/18/19 to see Dr. Barnes. I have been going to see him for a few years. He is always the same. He comes in and tells you the exact results. He explains how your eyes have changed from year to year, if any, and whether cataracts have remained the same or are getting worse. He is a true professional and shows real concerns about his patients. He has a great staff. His assistant that performed my tests was Miranda. She was great. I love Dr. Barnes. I once had a freak injury to the corea of my eye. It was extremely painful and frightening. Dr. Barnes is not only knowledgeable and professional, but he is also very compassionate. After my appointment and treatment, he called me twice the following day, while he was out of town on a fishing trip, to see how I was doing. He is my favorite of all the eye doctors I have ever had (and I had had many wonderful eye doctors).

Dr. Barnes is a wonderful, personable, and educational doctor. He has helped me understand my eye problems better though I was so afraid that I was going to eventually go blind. He has also helped my husband get on medication for his glaucoma. He does not end The appointment until he knows that you are satisfied and your eyes are on the path to health as much as possible. THANK YOU DR BARNES!

The entire visit was great. This was my first time at this office and they were prompt, friendly and thorough. Dr. Barnes is very knowledgeable and warm. I'm glad to have found a new eye doc.

He has a friendly yet no-nonsense manner and gets to the heart of the issue very quickly. I was fitted with contacts elsewhere that were horrible but within about 15 minutes he had me seeing better than I have in years.

My 14 yr old daughter is learning to wear contacts. The drama might be equivalent to discovering she is allergic to food and needs to be permanently sustained by IV. Dr. Barnes and Beth have been honorably patient and helpful in offering solutions, assistance, and support. Last time we left the office, my daughter talked for hours about how grateful she is for their kindness. They explain everything and are very knowledgeable and personable.

I called to make an appointment for my son for contacts. He was already an established patient of this office. I made it clear on the phone that I wanted a contact fitting appointment for my son. When I took my son to his appointment, I again reiterated that I wanted him to have a contact fitting appointment. The girl at the front desk said of course. It was very clear what I had set the appointment for. Well no contact fitting was done - just wanted to bill my insurance for an eye exam
