I would highly recommend this vets office to anyone searching for a good veternarian. I especially recommend Dr. Stashek. She is caring compassionate and has such a way with animals. I travel from Whiting just to see Dr. Stashek. The entire staff is wonderful. Just a great place all around.
Just moved to Barnegat....wanted to make sure I had a place to bring my hairy grandkids when they visit in emergency...plus I needed to order food....the staff was wonderfully helpful and enjoyed going there to the hospital where everyone was warm and friendly..Thanks all!

Dr. Laura Stashek IS the best. She's compassionate, loves her work, personalizes our pets' visits by referring to them by their given names. Our cats are 17 1/2 yrs old and she sweetly calls them her "geriatric ward" clients. Since we moved here in '05, she has assisted us caring for our pets with their annual visits/vaccinations and as needed. Always friendly, down-to-earth and very empathetic! <3 U
So sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Stephen Wurst. He was our vet for our dog Mandy for almost 17 years. I remember him coming into the office, getting down on his hands and knees and giving her a kiss before starting the exam! There is no other vet in the world like him.

I owe a huge thank you to Barnegat animal clinic. I had a very hard decision to make a few weeks ago about letting go of my golden retriever Brody . The care that was provided was excellent and all of there reassurance really helped me get through that day. The nurses were so sweet and stuck with me, and the vet that I had DR. James, explained everything to me and was very careful.
