Linda, our server was the best server we have had in Odessa in years! She was on top of everything and all the food came out perfectly. The only downside was the manager kept rushing and yelling at employees. As soon as we were standing up to leave he was yelling at someone to come clean our table before we even walked away. Huge thanks to Linda for the great service!
I've been here 3x in the last month. Sometimes great service but they are so busy that I think they lose track. Food is good but sometimes terrific. I wish they would still give cheese and soup of the day with the order. If they still do I haven't had any with my last 3 meals but again they are so busy that if they do lose track I understand.
⭐☆☆☆☆ We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at the Barn Door with a group of about 15 people, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We waited an hour and a half for our food. During that time, our server rarely came by our table. We couldn’t even find her when we wanted drink refills or needed assistance. This place has really gone downhill. The service was excellent but everything else was not. Please get rid of that sticky old carpet. I’m sure it’s a health hazard. Has it been there since the 70s? Whatever new chef they have sucks. The gravy on the mashed potatoes had a funky taste. The garlic steak bites flavor was good, but it was mostly fat and gristle and it did not have the nice crust like it used to. It was just gray lumps of meat. It is nice that they brought back the blocks of cheese.
