Alina is a very good, caring, and amazing nurse at Barlow Hospital. She works in the ICU, and we were lucky to have her as our nurse from time to time while she helped take care of my father in law. Every time it was her shift, we felt lucky and our hearts were at ease. She truly goes above and beyond. I personally massage his feet every night when I go to visit, and I always make sure he is off the automatic foot massage and the footrest so he can relax and feel comfortable without the gloves and all that equipment. Quality care is not good. Some people do care and others don’t. They left a patient sitting in thier own feces for over 45 minutes. They kept saying someone coming.
Absolutely do not ever let a loved one go here. Honestly I wouldn't even want someone I dislike to go here. They "waited for a bed" in the Valley Presbyterian ER before sending my mom down there WHILE SHE WAS IN SEPTIC SHOCK. They weren't even rushing to get her to the ER when I arrived to visit my mom. (Be Aware Barlow and Valley Presbyterian are Seperate entities) My mother died the next day, and they still have the audacity to send a bill.
