Updated to add: Barley and Board took the time to reach out to me, the experience I had was obviously not what they intend for their employees to portray the company as. I used to think I wanted to try Barley and Board. That was until I went in for a friend to pick up something of theirs from the restaurant. We had our wedding rehearsal at Barley & Board last weekend and it was a wonderful experience! From our event coordinator Jennifer to our helpful and friendly servers Tristan and Cassidy, we could not have had better service. We had a custom menu from their delicious food and wine selections and everyone loved it (even the flower girl and ring bearer who ordered grilled cheese.) What a delight! I can’t remember the last time I ate out and the food was unique, memorable, and delicious! Barley & Board is upscale relaxed. Amazing food and service, but not pretentious. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, different. At lunch, it wasn’t loud.
