The waiter was fantastic. The food was disapointing. The grits were under cooked and had no taste. The shrimp had no flavor. The sausage over powered the entire dish. Not at all what I expected. The cream of crab soup was salty and had very little crab. The roll was soft on one side and very hard on the other side. The drinks from the bar were perfisent.
Today was the first time I have ever visited, and most likely will be the last time I will ever come. It took us over 30 mins to get are meals and...then the food tasted horrible...while ate waitress was good.. The food was really sub par.
We were pleasantly surprised with our food. The service was outstanding. My wife and I were already talking about returning on our ride home.

This was the 2nd time me and my wife had dinner here. The 1st visit was great. The 2nd not so much. I was disappointed that no Gator meat was available (the main reason we came back), the crawfish bread appetizer gave my wife a slight allergic reaction after specifically asking if certain ingredients were a part of the recipe, and the gumbo did not have specific ingredients that were said to be apart of the dish. Our server was awesome and made our visit a bit more comforting

We are sorry to hear this and hope your 3rd visit proves more enjoyable. The gator meat was a special item and not something we carry on a regular basis. With the Mardi Gras celebration in full swing, we thought we would have some specials that reflected it. Not sure what caused the slight food allergy reaction, but we hope it did not ruin your meal and we are glad your server was outstanding.
We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped in for dinner and drinks. Fully expecting good beer and bar food, we got great beer, great people, and awesome food Instead. Definitely going back!
