This doctor doesn’t know. His exact words “I don’t know” when I asked him why he thinks I’m experiencing the pain. He has zero interest to help. So make sure to avoid him and go see a doctor that at least attempts to help you.

I received outstanding care as the patient of Dr. Arthur Bartletta, while being treated at the National Spine and Pain Institute. He addressed all my questions and concerns in a manner that I could fully understand. His bed side manner is phenomenal and he made me feel valued as a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Bartletta and his staff.

I am very reluctant to leave a bad review because Dr. Barletta was very attentive and helped tremendously with pain. But this was years ago. I have been trying to get an appointment for over two months now. I always get the runaround and never any follow up. I’ve had to wait on the line sometimes a half an hour or more only to go into a voicemail. No one ever calls me back. I need Workers Comp paperwork filled out and have made it clear to them if I don’t get this done I don’t get paid. Still, no follow up. I am completed du... read more

If you are an elderly patient trying to make appointment forget about it! The office staff is not helpful on the phone and won't take the time to find out why you need to schedule an appointment. You are then transferred to a national appointment call center where the schedulers can't see that you have been seen by a doctor in the National Spine and Pain Centers group and that you are not a new patient. The whole process is frustrating and not worth the added stress.

I visited Dr. Barletta last week and I was truly taken aback by his badgering of my test completed and symptoms. My Orthopedist ordered number blood test, MRIs (3) and Xrays (3) to find the cause of my chronic back pain (which I'm very thankful for). However, Dr. Barletta repeatedly questioned why this was even done. He also failed to understand why my pain was on the right side of my body when my disc bulge on the left. When I asked what could be done about it, he said he did not know! Rea

This experience was the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had at a doctor's office. The paperwork was so extensive and the questions downright invasive and some quite inappropriate. The office environment was old and crappy, and not especially clean. Even though the telephone scheduler had indicated the doctor practiced certain medical procedures, he seemed to have no interest or ability to do so. He recommended surgery, even though the whole point of the appointment was surgery avoid.
