Had a another great experience with Barks Fifth Avenue. My dog used to hate to get in the car for fear she was going to the groomers. She would bark & cry when I dropped her off & was in a hurry to leave. When she'd get home she'd itch for days. Not anymore. I've been taking my dog to Barks Fifth Avenue. She's actually excited to get in the car again, happy to be at Barks, & wants to take her time leaving. Best of all no more itching. Bark's staff have always been very friendly. They helped us pick out a food that our fussy little girl will eat and introduced us to Tuesday night play group. Dixie and I often recommend the play group to little dogs at the dog park. It is a great place to go to get your pup some fun & exercise on a rainy or cold night.
I was at Barks 5th today, around midday and someone in the grooming area was yelling at a little dog because it was barking. I mean yelling and telling it to shut up and shouting NO. Barking...isn't that what dogs do? The music was blaring too, I'm sure that didn't help the poor little thing. The poor unsuspecting owner probably hasn't a clue that her little pup is being subjected to less than acceptable human behavior. I will never have my little dog groomed there.
