Do not lease properties from this company! -As the tenant, I terminated the lease with 30 day notice to vacate on Landmark Realty form. -Landmark Realty LLC did not follow lease terms: 1) refused to provide a written itemized account of the disposition of the security deposit within 30 days and 2) did not refund the $1,500 security deposit.
I'm highly disappointed with Stewart Realty. We had a property with them for about 12 years, and I wish we had left much sooner. Their communication with owners and amongst themselves is terrible. Sometimes we would have tenants contact us because Stewart was unresponsive to their requests. We recently took control of our property again in hopes of selling it because we were just done with this company. The state that we found our property was deplorable. Don't rent from these people . If your heater goes out, you aren't given rent credit for days without heat because a space heater was given to you. If a neighbor parties 24/7, don't expect them to be evicted if neighbors complain about the noise, even if the cops are always showing up for one reason or another. If you give notice you're moving, don't move out before your 30 days are up because according to the property manager, the owner doesn't give refunds.
Stewart Realty has poor customer service, rarely responds to emails or return calls. Poor communication between employees. Poor follow through with repairs or maintenance. Stewart Realty does not honored their own contract. Our tenant did not pay rent in July, contacted company since nobody from company bothered to inform us.
