GREAT PEOPLE GREAT GROOMERS Bark Ave is great!! Don't take my word for it, ask my dogs. They go every 2 weeks. I've used them since they opened and would not consider going anywhere else. They even do my dogs teeth, and have saved me huge $ in Vet bills. My dogs are particular about what they eat and BA has help with what they eat. Can't say enough good things about this business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why Go Anywhere Else? The people at Bark Avenue have been doing my dogs since they openned for business. There are VERY few people that I would entrust my dogs to and I am pleased that I found such a great place. They never leave my dog all day without taking them for a potty break. DOGMOM As a longtime owner of several groomed dogs, I am VERY picky about the treatment of my dogs. Bark Avenue has always helped me and treated my dogs with kindness, love and respect. If I had any questions I could always call and count on their advice. When I sadly lost one of my girls, everyone at Bark Avenue was upset. She meant as much to them as to me! Great Groomer...Great prices! I have been taking my two beagles to Bark Avenue for several years now. They are wonderful! They do a great job, my dogs love the people there. I always ask for Blaze, and he does an outstanding joband their prices are wonderful! They are always accomodating, and sell all the good brands of food and treats. Even though we moved north of DC, I still make the trek back as often as I can to have my dogs groomed, because they are great and truly care about the dogs. S Carter I have a goldendoodle and I have taken her to Bark Avenue ever since a few experiences at a chain when she was a pup. Bark Avenue is about the dogs - they know what they are doing and they do a nice job. They don't use the choke collars on the table which is much safer. I buy my dong food there too. After all that scare with the tainted food from China, I am glad I had been buying my precious coco's food there. These people know dogs. Perhaps the dandruff problem was related to the food. Bark Avenue We took our yellow lab, Molly to Bark Avenue for the first time last week and were very pleased. The shop was clean, the people friendly and knowledgeable. Molly seemed very comfortable too. We had an excellent first experience. I consider them our groomers now and would definitely recommend them.
Great cut, but huge lack of customer service I took my newf/chow mix here after have a very bad experience at another groomer. I called first and spoke to one of the owners -- she was very pleasant and spoke with me at length. I felt comfortable taking my dog and made an appointment. When I arrived I was greeted (not really) the the other owner, who made me feel like I was disrupting her day by walking in. Friendly Groomers! I had been going to a groomer in Springfield for a few years and she decided to retire so I had to find a new groomer. I have a 14 year old, blind, been through two back surgeries, pekingese with an attitude and was trying to find someone who would want to deal with him. When I called Bark Avenue and explained my situation, they were more than willing to take him on! So far, they have groomed my Max 3 times in the last 6 months with no problems and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend Bark Avenue.
