What a horrible man. I'm guessing it was the owner. Anyone else would have been fired on the spot. A lady poked her head out of the kitchen and directed us to the general area of the dining room. I took a seat while my husband used the restroom, but moved back one spot because of a really cold draft. Terrible service. I didn't have a chance to taste the food..or even their water. Waited 10 minutes for a table and then over 20 minutes for waitress before we decided to leave. The place was not busy, only two tables had customers (total 8 people) were there. As we left I mentioned to the owner that we were leaving because we were hungry and thirsty (we just came out of Zions after 2 day hiking trip) The owner said (and I quote) " go...get out! and I hope you don't come back". The owner clearly preys on tourists. He was fidgety just like someone on something and just didn't seem right to us. The menu items are excessive and not accurate at all. He sat there and proclaimed how great and fresh everything was but when our food came out it looked like it had been a display item for the last several years... it tasted that way too. I'm not sure how the owner has created so many false citysearch accounts to write deceitful positive reviews about his terrible restaurant, but it should give you a sense of how much overcompensation he feels a need to provide. If you have any doubt, look at reviews at tripadvisor, urbanspoon, yelp, or google-- all paint a grimmer, more accurate picture (though each of these is also plagued with false positive reviews). All of the reviews on here are fake. – This place is a stain on the community of Hurricane, I work in Springdale (about thrity minutes up the road) and we hear horror stories from tourists all the time. So then I decided to try it... And I have to tell you that I have an extreme love/hate relationship with the place. First of all the prices are ridiculous and the menu appears to be scrawled in heiroglyphs by an arthritic geriatric.
