My sixteen year old Yorkie was at her life’s end. I took her to VCA Bonita at 7:00 in the morning without calling or setting up and appointment. Kristen at the front desk explained that doctors would not be in until 8:30. She look at the schedule and was able to get me in for a 1:00 appointment that same day. I made my way to my pre-op appointment for Cancer surgery and was able to go home and take a short nap with my girl. We arrived back at the hospital at 1:00 pm. Kristen set us up in our own room which gave us time to sa... read more

We brought our precious Great Dane to VCA to be cremated after our regular vet had put her down. We couldn’t stand the thought of our Sadie not being with us. The staff at VCA was so careful and loving with her during the intake process. A few days after we dropped her off we received a condolence card from them in the mail. When we went to pick up Sadie’s remains she was in a very nice urn with her name on it along with her paw print, a lock of her hair, and a certificate stating her name, our name, and date of her crematio... read more

Although I have a vet near my home that I've trusted for years, I took my two French Bulldogs to VCA yesterday and met Dr. Nepp for the first time.. I was most impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness and communication. I would not hesitate to highly recommend him.. .

They have the expertise to help your pet but they seem to be focused on running up the bill as much as possible. My dog was a stray and abused and she panics whenever she is in a stressful situation. I took her in and they had a covid policy of not allowing owners in with the pets. They said my dog had seizures and charged me $700 dollars to treat her. This would not have happened had I been allowed to accompany the dog. Now they are refusing to dispense heart worm medications without me bringing her in for an exam, despite ... read more

Worse experience at a VET! Before the vet even looked at my cat she took out her calculator, and I knew this was a scam! She said it would cost $770.00 to treat a possible/probable urinary tract infection. When I refused treatment and said I would take him to my personal vet and just pay the exam fee the doctor held onto the cat for 45 min for the bill to be written. (This as so I pay the $199. Exam fee) basically holding cat for collateral. What a racket. This has never happened to me at any vet or ER clinic. They did nothi... read more

We have been taking our pets to VCA for years, with Dr Schwebel and now Dr Haydell. We just love this place, and they have taken excellent care of our pets. Would recommend them to everyone.

After HORRIBLE experience with several Ormond Beach Veterinarian, few years ago, I tried this place. Been hooked ever since. Staff often try to upsale (All vet do this these days) so you have to make sure your pet gets what he/she needs without the unnecessary extra but overall they're the best around. Even went to the one in Ormond Beach (corner Golf and Nova rd) because it was closer but they're not as good as the one on Beville.

Couldn’t get into our normal vet. Our dog is nearly 15 yrs old and we thought he was on his way out. Wouldn’t eat or drink anything. Found out it was a nasty infection. I couldn’t believe it. He was back to himself in a couple days. We’re switching vets.
