Dr. Baribeau, is the best eye Dr I have ever met. Does a great job with thorough exams and care.
Receptionist is very rude doesn’t know what insurance they accept
I saw Dr. B for a second opinion on adult strabismus(eye muscle causing misalignment ). I had trouble finding a second Dr in Austin so I made the trek to SA. I was initially told by the first ophthalmologist in austin to go through with surgery. Dr B measured my eyes vigilantly and used different tools to directly manipulate the muscles to misalign but they never did. He concluded there was absolutely zero evidence of misalignment! Terrible service. My lady had an appointment. After waiting an hour and half past her appointment time. She went to front desk to ask how much longer and they said it be another hour of waiting before seeing the doctor. Take your business elsewhere. Lousy service and staff is unprofessional
You will not be seen at or anywhere near your scheduled appointment time. We waited almost 2 hours to be seen and when I asked they said that's the norm. They overbook and the actual appointment when seen by the Dr. is about 10 minutes. They will charge you a $75 fee if you cancel or are late but it's ok for the doctor to run 2 hours late. Doesn't make much sense to me other than overbooking to collect co-payments forcing patients to wait the 2+ hours to be seen.
