I don't lightly write a one star review for a local business. However, After three years trying to reach John B***** regarding our builders contract, I feel obligated to write this review. Once we purchased the house, he is still to this day under contract to repair the glass panes on our door. Despite text, email, and phone calls, we have tried to reach John probably close to 100 times. He is responsive when he feels like it, and then disappears for months on end. Barger Builders was a joy to work with! John and his office manager Bea are old school in the best of ways, they answer the phone and show up to the job site daily. We hired Barger to renovate our home and the quality of the work shows. There were some delays to the project mostly because of the tile and fixtures I chose not being in stock which caused a delay in the install time, however they kept me informed every step of the way and I felt I could trust all the subs with my house keys, something that is very rare in today... read more
