We planned a wedding celebration party in a private room for 20 guests for November 18th. We committed to the date months in advance with a deposit. Five days before the event, we received a text saying that the owner was missing and they were going to have to close and they we could not have our party there and that we could not get back our deposit. Now there is a paper sign on the front door saying that it was locked up on November 20th for non payment of lease. Any thoughts?
