Small, Dim, and Ok. – Many candles give out a relaxing dim light in this bar, making Barca a decent option for drinking with a date on Capital Hill. The environment carried mellow electronic music in the background with a crowd mainly filled with ages of mid to late 20s. The drinks seem to touch the pricey side. Evening well spent – I was a bit skeptical at first, after reading some of the other reviews. I'm glad I decided to try it out for myself. I can't say enough good things about Barca amazing service, great music, the perfect atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone.
The best bar in town! – It is great to go into a bar where you can seat at the bar, have a drink and hold a conversation with the person next to you without having to yell. Barça has a well-decorated and sexy ambiance, where the atmosphere is welcoming, the bartenders are beautiful and friendly, the music selection is great, and the drinks are excelent - I make Barça my first choice! You should check it out and you must try their out of this world chocolate martini.
Best on the hill – I have been going to BARCA for a couple of years and have to say i have never been disapointed - great service, strong drinks, excellent atmosphere and cute staff combine to make this the best bar on Capitol Hill. Wednesday nights are a favourite as DJ Sureshot spins for free!!
100 Vodkas!!! – Wow, The Vodka Bar at Barca is incredible!!! They claim to have the largest selection of vodkas in the state of Washington...and I believe it! I tried 2 of their "samplers" (chocolate and polish) which gave me a taste of 3 different chocolate vodkas, and 3 different polish vodkas. The bartender (hot!) was very knowledgeable...I had no idea how vodkas can taste so very different!!! I'm hooked!!! Will definitely be going back. Oh, and yes, the place is absolutely gorgeous...great ambiance, nice crowd.
Forget the old reviews... – These reviews of Barca are outdated, so if you haven't been recently, go! The advent of the 100+ vodkas and 30 draft beers (including 4 Belgians) to an already keen staff, makes this one of my favorite places. Previous comments about poor service are way off base. From the doorman to the bussers, Barca's employees are some of the best in Seattle's service industry.
