Dr Barbosa Leyka is a wonderful lady she save my life when I was 22 years old .. I had lots of doctor I went to go see and none of them could figure out what was wrong with me ..I had a muscle problem Dr Barbosa they sent me to the liver doctor wonderful man he seen me he told it's not your liver .. But I'm going to send u upstairs to Dr Barbosa when she seem me she told me you are very sick she call the ambulance they took me to medical city she rush from that office to the hospital she started medication on me..I was dying... read more
Extremely Disappointing and Concerning Experience This was one of the most uncomfortable medical experiences I have ever had. 1. The visit began with paper documentation requesting extensive personal data. In 2026, I expect secure digital intake systems. Dr. Barbosa has been my rheumatologist for the past 8ish years, and I can’t say enough good things about them. Dr. Barbosa actually takes the time to listen to you and sees you as a person, not just a patient. Nancy is amazing and will go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of. Thank you guys 🩵
I called because I was referred, and the person who answered made fun of me when I said I don’t have a fax. She told me, “anyway, there are no appointments until January.” This is very discriminatory, and it’s unacceptable that in 2025 they are still requiring a fax. It shows a complete lack of ethics and empathy :(
Dr. Barbosa has been my rheumatologist for over 10 years. Dr. Barbosa is a great rheumatologist. She is very knowledgeable. Her medical assistant is a wonderful lady who is very passionate about helping patients. I truly appreciate all they have done for me.
