The landlord is terrible. He never fixes anything. He walks in unannounced and has a sense of pride about being able to do what he wants when he wants and will hold your lease over your head. My neighbors moved out because of allergy issues due to the roof that leaks constantly and black mold between the walls I'm sure. I informed him the second week after I moved in, that my roof was leaking about a gallon of water per rainstorm and he told me that I need to get a big bucket. Enticed by the prime location downtown, and low rent w/ parking, my partner and I lived there for 3 years, paid rent on time, never bothered other tenants. No issues etc. A few months or so after moving in the disposal stopped working and Oscar, the landlord, found food scraps in the disposal and said he would fix it this time but future repairs would be on me.
