I called and spoke with Shirley Wheeler. I simply asked if they could squeeze me in this week before I leave for a trip and she laughed. I asked if there was a problem, and her response was, "Well, if you think that's the way we operate, then you should maybe find a different dentist." Really? Doctor Barber has been my dentist since I graduated from Western Kentucky University in the 70's. In my humble opinion he's the best dentist in the state of Kentucky. He pays meticulous attention to all the details. His staff is outstanding with a great dental hygienist and receptionist. Seldom have I been able to recommend a doctor without reservation. It is a pleasure to do so in the case of DR. Philip Barber.
