I purchased an XL Big Green Egg (BGE) in May 2020 and have been generally pleased with its performance and ability to grill, roast, and smoke. In August 2022, the fire box cracked. I immediately contacted the retailer where I purchased the BGE, Barbeques Galore and they processed a warranty claim when I submitted photos of the cracked firebox. Some of the poorest customer service I have received. They act as if the customer needs them and don’t care how they treat people. There are much better company’s that actually still believe in a positive customer experience.Long story short, they placed an order for me from Napoleon, unfortunately, what arrived was the wrong color. What would be a normal transaction is “we’re sorry, let’s send this back and get the right item” but no, “sorry, this is what you get”. I love this place. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff that I have interacted with. I have only been there a handful of times, but each time the people working have been incredibly nice and helpful. If they have a recommendation for a product/fuel and they don't have it, they don't try to sell you something else they do have that doesn't fit your need or make sense for you.
