It took over 15 minutes to get 2 bowls of Brunswick stew and a side of fries. They were out of glasses and silverware. I know they were busier than normal because of the filming, but it should have been planned for. Also, instead of offering something in place of the cornbread (which also out of) they only brought 2 hush puppies when we said something. We should have been faster and taken care of you better. That's why When I learned of your table experience I told your server to take care of your meal. We hope you will come back! They would be alright if they could get my order right. i ordered a 1/2 chicken plate but when I got back to work, I had chopped chicken. Man if people would only listen.

We come in at least twice a month with our curly-haired boys that they even know our orders! Ha! The staff is always great and we make sure to recommend it to anyone who loves catfish and good ol' southern hospitality. Whenever my family is in town (from the west coast) they ask us when we're taking them there, lol, and even when my sister is full, she makes sure she gets a slice of the strawberry cake to go.
Used to enjoy this restaurant. Went in on a Monday night. Not very packed, thinking we could get served quickly. Waited more than 5 minutes to find the only server to come out went to last table seated (there were 3 other tables besides mine, we were there first). Never came over, never looked at us. Never coming back, will never recommend.
We have been regulars for years; we love the food and have never had anything that wasn't excellent. All the servers are good, but Taylor is our favorite. The bbq pork, catfish, freshly cut French fries, Cole slaw, salad with pork, bbq chicken, baked beans, and iced tea are all awesome! Every time we go it's like visiting family and home cooking - love this place! ❤️
