Consistent, tasty southern food with friendly service. It had been 10 years since I'd been there last, and it was just as good as I remembered. Still a great value, too - meat and 3 sides, plus 2 biscuits, for less than $10.
BBQ was really watery. Unfortunately, the sauce was literally covering every single bit of the pork and overpowering it to the point where I have no clue if the pork actually had any flavor or not (the only flavor I could discern was in the sauce.) I would have preferred to be one deciding how much sauce to put on the pork but it was literally invisible under the sauce. Brunswick stew was good. Baked beans were fair. Slaw was so finely ground up the texture was awful. Corn muffins were good. Would definitely not recommend it... read more
