my friend and i got the big ice cream ( ice cream was goodcuz its hard to mess up ice cream) service was terrible our drinks got low and no onw stoped to check on us and i wanted to order fries and when the fries came out the lady was very rude i will not be going back bbq center fix your staff make then happer and friendly

I was taken there for my birthday & to see if I could eat their Big Banana Split. My group enjoyed a variety of food. All I had was coffee and the banana split. It took about 30 mins but I finished it. It really was a lot of good ice cream. I didn’t get a T-shirt but will go back.
Great place to eat. Great desserts. Great waitstaff. Will definitely go back again.
My second time in Lexington, first at the BBQ Center. The BBQ tasted warmed over from refrigerator, the Texas Pete made it edible but far short of good. Advertisements say pit cooked, no hardwood tasted or smelled. BBQ deserves a 1 star. The field peas were excellent, okra pretty good, and hush puppies OK. Service was excellent and boosted overall rating to a two. To bad th BBQ pulled service down, they really deserve better as was reflected in the 25% tip we left.
