Got my first ever curly cut at Barbara & Barbara yesterday, and I am so ecstatic with how it turned out! Moon was the sweetest and listened to all of the desires I had for my hair, and made me feel very welcomed. I will definitely be returning! ☺️

I got a razor cut from Alli about a month ago and I am absolutely in love with it. I showed them some reference pictures of a wolf cut/ hush cut i wanted and told them a bit about how i style my hair, and they truly knocked it out of the park. I am in my 15th year being a customer of Barbara & Barbara. A wonderful, inclusive, queer and trans-inclusive salon that serves *everyone*, but most importantly, curly-haired people!! all their stylists are trained on curly cuts, and they do a magnificent job...Hail Valter, curl whisperer! thanks to them, I have more good hair days than bad now. Frequent and recurring issues with timeliness, which vary by stylist. Probably fine for longer services but not suitable for anyone who needs reliable recurring services like a bang trim. Most recently, I was called to ask if I could delay the start of my trim by 45 minutes. I said no and was told that was ok. When I arrived, I was left sitting for 15 minutes and my stylist was still with a different customer at the shampoo bowl.
