I don’t recommend a curly cut from here unless you have loose waves. I got a cut from Alex a few weeks ago and I am very upset with both my experience and the result. During our brief consultation I told him many times that my main priority was growing out my hair. I had been growing it for over a year and was just looking to get a trim. Went in for the first time yesterday to see Molly for an update to my bob. This was the first time I’ve left a salon fully satisfied with the result. Molly understood exactly what I wanted, paid attention to how I wore my hair when I walked in, asked questions about my maintenance routine, and styled it exactly how I would at home. Barbara and Barbara is my new favorite hair salon! I’ve never been the type to get my hair done because of various reasons but this place changed that for me. I feel so comfortable in such a supportive environment. Everyone is so sweet! Dee is absolutely wonderful and does an amazing job. I would absolutely recommend coming to this place!!!
As a Black Non-Binary person, it is so difficult to find an affirming space to receive hair care. Teke was so dope and provided me with the most gender affirming haircut I’ve experienced. I’m excited to book with Barbara & Barbara again!
