Telehealth only. She had constant connectivity issues, with constant freezing and unusable time wasted and had barking dogs constantly. I was so dissatisfied, that I stopped going to her. And then she had the unmitigated gall to turn me into collections because I refused to pay for an appointment that was mostly wasted on connectivity issues and distractions from her home.
I just had a lovely phone call with Barbara. She was kind, understanding, and a good listener. I appreciate all that she does as a therapist in Salem, OR, and I look forward to having more conversations in the future :)
My experience with Barbara was quite good and I'm dismayed by all the really negative reviews I see posted. Im aware that many people post reviews when they're unhappy with services, but forget to post when they're pleased, and why I'm here today. My husband & I saw Barbara about 6 years ago. We'd seen a previous counselor before. She was young and very "sweet" and kept telling us to remember why we loved each other and to practice it. It didn't work very well. I decided to visit the Marriage Counselor in order to get some advice and help for my relationship. I was very impressed with the counselor's professionalism and their helpful advice. I highly recommend this business for marriage counseling!
