What an awesome doctor! Portland is a hard place for a POC to find a provider who will actually care about your health and not have their own biases cloud their medical decisions, which was my very scary experience, until I found Dr. Esselink. As a physician I would recommend her to anyone especially other POCs seeking a doctor who will REALLY listen and make an investment in their care.
