Dr. Barb Diakos was great! She was very informative and explained things in great detail! This was my second pregnancy with Dr. Barb. Never had any issues or concerns...the staff was also pleasant, no complaints here! I would definitely recommend her!
From my first office visit with Dr. Barb Diakos I felt very at ease in her care. She is detailed, thorough, extremely knowledgeable and very good at her profession. I saw this "Nook specialist" when she was at Northwestern. She agreed to a lap immediately, and also immediately agreed to tie my tubes for birth control, so it was worth it for me to see her. But she did my laproscopic excision far more poorly than my current doctor has, and then told me I was wrong about my pain level. For ladies suffering and at their wit's end, she will believe you have Endo and do the lap you need to confirm it. But I would not return to her unless I had absolutely no other options. I knew with my age and previous pregnancy issues that my pregnancy was going to be high risk. I choose Dr. Barbara Diakos as my OB. The first visit went ok, then I miscarried at 10 weeks. This happened on a Monday and they couldn't fit me into their schedule before the already scheduled appointment on Friday. When they seen me Friday we asked for a DNC but the doctor told me no because I'm 35, it's too risky and it'd be better if I delivered naturally.
