Dr. Cortez is amazing. Have been going to her for 23 years. Took care of skin cancers and melanoma. Always smiling, ask about family, is concerned and never rushes. Answers any questions. She knows my history and checks thoroughly. She is the best dermatologist ever and I highly recommend her. My family goes to her also. She truly cares about her patients and has an awesome personality.
Dr. Barbara Cortez is an extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and caring professional. She is personable, answers questions, and explains conditions.
This physcian is rude. My daughter went to her for her first dermatology appointment and was given the worst experience. She used a scare tactic and scolded my daughter for having a precancerous spot . Dr. Cortez is experienced and knows when and biopsy is needed. Instead she insisted this biopsy was needed . She risked leaving a scar on my daughters face, to prove a point. We all understand now the effects of the sun more now than we did years ago, reprimanding patients at the bedside is unacceptable at every level.
Excellent dr. Dr Cortez takes time to explain and shows true concern.
