The bagel was really good. I got the Monte Cristo on an Asiago bagel. I recommend if the sweet and savory combo is your jam (pun intended haha). It comes with smoked turkey, cheese, butter and raspberry jam. The service was good. For only two workers they managed the line really well. Cleanliness leaves something to desire. The self service coffee bar looked like it has not been cleaned in a while. Also the bagel case looks like it needs a good vacuuming out. The pile of bagel crumbs looks caked on the bottom.

This is a WONDERFUL little bakery in the heart of downtown DeKalb. A small town feel combines with a fantastic menu to create a gem of a restaurant. The bagels are made daily, so when they are gone, they're gone! I love that! As sad as it is to occasionally get there too late in the day for my favorite bagel, the trade off is FRESH, soft, delicious bagels that are second to none. Honestly some of the best I've ever had! I got there shortly after 7 am a few weeks ago, and they were still warm! Out of this world!
