My father passed away suddenly last August, and recently, a chain for a necklace he gifted me when I graduated college broke. I looked all over town, visited several shops, and all told me they didn't work on hollow link gold chains, as they're an older method and brittle. I had some jewelry (good stuff and scraps) and a few old coins I wanted to sell. From submitting the online request, to making an appointment and then the appointment itself, Jamie at Baraka was wonderful. Great communication throughout, he took the time to explain the process and I feel he went above and beyond to explain how he came to his final number for the sale. The whole experience was great and very fun! I would highly recommend Baraka for pretty much anything jewelry related, you will not be disappointed.

I purchased diamond earrings and a matching diamond pendant, made 1990-ish, for our 25th Anniversary. My wife loves them. My entire experience with Baraka Gems was pleasant and reassuring. The staff was friendly and courteous, while the jeweler was knowledgeable and patient. I visited in jeans and a t-shirt, but detected no signs of judgment or disapproval. We would recommend Baraka Gems for anyone looking to purchase or design an engagement ring. We loved working with Taylor. She was very knowledgeable and super helpful throughout the whole process. We went in knowing very little about diamonds, or engagement rings, but thanks to Taylor’s guidance, we walked away feeling informed, confident, and excited about our choice!
