Love Truckee and this is my favorite place. Folks that work there are the best. The Big Bird sandwich is to die for. Keep it going!
Excellent food and a cozy place to gather, young staff are hip and cute, but not seasoned for a demanding group or heavy crowds.
The Thanksgiving dinner special was awesome! Turkey was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly. I know for sure we will be back here again :)
This place used to be warm and inviting. Now it's snooty. Our server was less than friendly. It would be nice if they allowed dogs on the patio like most restaurants with outdoor seating. It's Tahoe and supposed to be kick back. I've been coming to Truckee and the Tahoe area for decades. Bar of America used to be fun. Now it's uptight. I'm done with it.
The doorman is the best Marine to ever live and deserves a serious raise for all his hard work
The service from Sara was fantastic. It was packed and she never missed a beat. We had Right winger and Pizza, my wife had lemon drops and I The cocktails. This is a must when in Truckee.
Always a go-to stop in Truckee! Excellent bar menu. Must try the Shooter Poppers!
This was a great experience. It all started because I was under dressed for the weather and need a long sleeve shirt. We decided that we were Going to have a bite to eat. The food was great and beyond expectation. The server was wonderful and friendly. I would go back multiple times if I lived in the area. I recommend that if you are in the area to stop here and have a bite to eat.
