Very nice place in a quiet area. The guys were really courteous and the service was quick. I liked the relaxed seating and the peaceful atmosphere of the cafe. Everything is very clean. I had Americano and i felt the aroma and taste can improve. I will definitely go back again.

If you aren’t familiar with Bar 9’s flawed philosophy, they seem to think the convenience of espresso concentrate and lack of true espresso machine is innovation. They make all their drinks with espresso concentrate that they stick the steam wand into to warm up. I’m still pondering the deeply thought out artwork on my Gibraltar. Shocking lack of care for quality. The espresso didn’t taste atrocious but you could get a better drink at Starbucks if you know how to order right. TLDR: For serious caffeine aficionados, this is the best bang for your buck on the west side Lily and Isaac know their coffee and everything bar nine. It can be easy to mistake it for a regular coffee shop, but this is an incredible experiment in new age coffee. They moved away from an expansive menu to a minimalist approach. Gone are the pour overs and regular coffee, and instead they have become the best at espressos, barrel aged espressos that are batch brewed.
