Best meal I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend the fried eggplant appetizer and the black garlic gnocchi. Absolutely phenomenal, staff is great, and I plan to come back soon.
5 stars all around! Was there for a work event and the staff were super attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back. Special thank you to Mike, Mia, and Maria for making this an unforgettable evening. Food was also amazing. Chef Sterling, please keep that crab and corn pasta special on the menu. :-)
So excited to try this place! Got the special with crab , pancetta and corn… $28. Was eating my dish and realized there was no Crab or pancetta in my pasta I mentioned it to the Elisa and she took it. Came back a little later and said They were refiring a new dish, I waited and waited and waited until my entire family finished their dinners as I sit there eating nothing… I told her just to forget it …my family had already finished their dinner. I had high expectations for Bar Lucca when I visited the restaurant for the first time. During my visit, they had a special which was a spicy Bucatini. Which was okay. The pasta could have been cooked just a tad bit longer. The sauce was good. So, overall pretty good. However, things went downhill after I ordered the Margherita Pizza. A few things either went wrong here. 1) the basil was not fresh and/ or 2) the basil was placed on the pizza before it was finished cooking, allowing it to wilt and making it unpalatable. Elissa took great care of our party of 8. We went for the tasting menu and she said "wait until you see how much great food!" We all did not regret our decision. Even with the tasting menu, we left already talking about coming back. And they served olive oil for dipping with the bread without asking!
