Reliably great. Nice space. Super friendly staff. Tasty dishes, decent wine by the glass. (exception: focaccia is so so).
Word about the fried chicken seems to be spreading fast, rightfully so, it's AMAZING, but the things happening here with melons and prosciutto and dawgs are on a whole other level. The staff is so friendly and chill, there's none of the pretension that usually accompanies such fine cuisine. Everyone on staff moves as though they own the place and it's purpose is your pleasure. This is the finest for I've had in Ashland.
Food was delicious! We shared the burrata dish, and had a burger, steak, and tomato tartine between us. Yum! The space is echo-y, and the music a bit too loud, which made casual convo a bit of work.
An outstanding, small restaurant with beautiful tasty food! We started with a nice bottle of The Marigny Pinot which became so good after a few minutes of breathing. Started with warm Italian olives, creamy ricotta focaccia and burrata salad. Who knew warm olives were a thing! A delicate but heavy hand with the lemons, olive oil and salt made them all amazing and tasty. We moved on to the pasta which was exceptional! Ended with the blueberry lemon cake! Incredible vibe, incredible food and incredible service. One of the best G&T's I have ever had. We had the little gem salad and the fried chicken. G&T and Le Martini for drinks. Meowwww! So tasty. We sat at the bar and service was fab. I know I will misspell their name but Behren (sorry love!) was fabulous! Gave us great recommendations and was a delight to speak with.
