Horrible food; but the wine is great. Don't eat here, it's overpriced and little tiny food.
Took a few trips driving around the block to find it as it sits back from the road w/ a sign that is hardly noticeable but so glad I didn't give up! Superb service, great selections of wines, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere! Looking forward to going back!! Cheers!
Love Bar Ferd'nand! I go there every Wednesday for wine tasting and the bartenders know you by name and truly gives a small hometown feel to a homey wine bar in the middle of a city. Plus during the summer, there is a farmers market right outside their door in the courtyard.
Our first visit here ... what a wonderful find. Knowledgeable staff, great selection of wines. Will return next time we're on Capitol Hill.
