Everything was just “ok” not sure what the hype is all about.
This was not good Japanese food. Especially for the price. Chicken ramen had no flavor. The bacon egg and cheese ramen was way too salty. Drinks were ehh. Go to an actual japanese establishment that has better food for a much better price!
This was so good! Went in as walk in for lunch and it was delicious. The handrolls were delicious and fun to make- all felt so fresh. I loved the edamame dip- such cool flavors, and the yakitori was melt in your mouth good. The bill adds up quickly..but clearly quality ingredients! Yum!
Wonderful staff, amazing food and great cocktails! Such a cozy, fun environment. I’ve been following Steph and Chef Jeff since the Taproot days in Bethel, CT. If you’re considering coming in don’t walk, run! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
