Restaurant/Pizza This is absolutely THE BEST pizza on the planet, according to the New York Times and millions of other discerning appetites. Chris Bianco is a legend, a James Beard award winner and my hero. He personally cooks every pizza in his wood burning oven and each one is 'to die for' His House Made Country Bread is simply amazing. Don't get the appeal I don't get the appeal of this place. It's small, crowded and you have to wait on line for half a day to get in. The pizzas are thin and small, not filling at all.
Diamond in the Ruff Spectacular Pizza!!!!!! This place is wonderful. The best pizza our group(16) ever had!! The owner bakes each pizza, he wants it perfect. And it's worth it, melts in your mouth and it's not ordinary pizza, you feel like its straight from Italy. There is no ham and pineapple here. Try the margherita with anchovies ( awesome) or the Wise Guy. PROS the pizza CONS the wait...2 hours...get there when they open or make a reservation. The space is small, they don't allow parties over 10, we had to split up
Best pizza I've ever had This pizza was fantastic. It truly was the best pizza I've ever eaten. Make sure you get there before it opens so that you can be seated at the first seating or you will have a wait. My one complaint is that my group got there well before opening, but because there isn't really a line (people just congregate around the door or on benches around the vicinity), we didn't make it in right when it opened. Pizzeria Blanco The best pizza I have ever eaten -- well worth the wait in line!! There are only 7 pizzas on the menu, but there is a pizza for everyone! Wine list is outstanding!
Wow! This may very well be the best pizza place in the entire Phoenix area. Be prepared for a long wait to get a table, but everything on the menu is excellent. Try the Pizzario Bianco wine room next door when you have to wait, they have a very eclectic selection of wines.
Rated the Best Ever since an article appeared in the NY Times, the accolades have been pouring it--from an appearance on Good Morning America to most recently being featured in Bon Appetit. This "may" be the best rated pizza in Phoenix, but there are drawbacks. The main disadvantage is due to its culinary fame since you must now start standing in line at 3:30 in order to guarantee that you can get in for the 5 PM opening--and it's common to wait 2 hrs. before entry. Gourmet Pizza This place truly has some of the best pizza i have ever had. It's not your typical pepperoni pizza. They use toppings such as pistachios, ricotta, and fennel sausage. Be prepared to wait a long time. it's best to go later in the evening with a small party (like 2 people) you'll have a better chance of getting in fast.
