We’re on day 6 in Select Medical at Baptist East Memphis. Pros: Yolanda the house manager has been excellent. She has been quick to respond and has handled things very professional. First day we requested to be in a room with a private bath and a couch because someone is staying with the patient 24/7. she made an executive decision to change us and made accommodations for our request to a room with a couch and private bathroom. Do NOT TAKE YOU FAMILY HERE. Do not trust them. They will kill them. Staff is poorly trained and has NO KNOWLEDGE on care. Neglect. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Located within Baptist Hospital 4th Floor. Nurses have attitudes. They are rude. Don’t flush lines. My grandfather has declined since being in this place. This place is horrible. Nurses will not correctly administer medicine. It is also so dirty. They do not clean the rooms.

Im going to start by saying DO NOT GO HERE! If you go in thinking you will receive the same care from Select Specialty that you did at Baptist Restorative, you will be sadly disappointed! August 1st they took over. We arrived on August 22nd around 11:40pm. From that moment it has been a huge discombobulated mess! Lack of staff, lack of staff training, cleanliness, lack of consistency, their "ordering" system, etc...Just because you are in Baptist walls does not mean your doctor comes here. The staff is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and always helpful and kind. They use the most up to date techniques to heal the wound. They are wonderful!
