I cannot say enough about the exceptional care my mother received at Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Center during her physical therapy stay. From the moment she arrived, she was surrounded by staff who truly went above and beyond. The nurses are very unprofessional and lack empathy and care for people’s loved ones. The night nurses are lazy drug patients up with sleep meds so they can sleep and not have to do anything through the night. I also sent my dad food & it sat through 3shifts and took me coming back to ask about it. My dad has dementia and is physically incapable of doing for himself. They don’t care, at all. Our family is incredibly thankful for the care my grandmother received at Baptist Rehab after she broke her hip. From the moment we arrived, we felt supported, heard, and genuinely cared for—not just as patients, but as a family. My grandfather recently had a 2 week stay here and I am very appreciative of the staff. Therapy was intense but he made real progress thanks to Susan & Alicia his PT & OT therapists. They kept us well updated on progress and listened to our questions & concerns. All of the nursing staff was friendly but I have to say if you are blessed enough to get Denny as a nurses assistant, she is an angel in disguise.
