I'm trying to give them the lowest possible score. I've spent nearly 3 months with a very painful condition waiting on them to even process my referral, let alone schedule me and get me in. If your doctor wants to refer you to them, tell them to send you elsewhere!
ER visit stated Gastroparasis and very high liver labs that have been climbing higher for 4 months in a row. Put in a RUSH referral. A week later after calling twice I’m now told they also want a referral from my primary care. No call or letter to state that.
Same story. Missed a call to schedule, a week after I saw them in person about the procedure. I called back not 2 minutes later and had to leave a message. Still haven't heard back. That was days ago. Ridiculous. And another example... I've called 3 times this past week to schedule an appt. Keep getting the run around each time. 10 minutes on hold so they can look into it. Then a promise to call me back. Still waiting to schedule...
Hopefully someone who cares about patient care will start looking at all these horrible reviews and help these patients! Someone who is seen in hospital needs a hospital follow up and can not be seen for five months after hospital stay! Make that make sense!!! Are there not any hospital follow up protocols for specialists, or wait it’s easier to say go see primary care so they can say see the specialist! Just sad that healthcare has come to this. I have had such a horrible experience to the point causing 2 hospital stays. The first time would not help until I had a colonoscopy. Well I had one and got terribly worse. They told me I had severe, pancolotis UC and basically gave me script for steroids and sent me on my way. I kept telling them I needed something I was so ill. I was in so much pain and was bleeding.
