I was very disappointed with my experience at the Baptist Clinic in Carthage. Walking into a medical facility should feel safe, welcoming, and professional. Instead, the lobby was blasting Fox News, which created a highly political and uncomfortable environment. Patients come here for care—not to be subjected to divisive and inflammatory programming. I’ve had been here by appointment numerous times and the staff has always been very helpful. What you tell a Doctor or a Nurse Practitioner matters. If you don’t tell them what’s wrong with you, they can’t treat you.
I love Dr Brad McKinley. He very professional but down to earth very friendly and he cares for his patients. I have never felt so comfortable with a man Dr as I do him. He really is the best. Even got my mama and brother seeing him now too and they love him too. And don’t get started on his nurses very friendly I love Stacey and the other ones too and ladies up front are very nice and always very helpful with everything u need. 10 stars from me
I have asthma that acts up during the winter time and been having trouble breathing and was told I wasn’t allowed to see the doctor because I had no prior visits and told me I had to go to the ER. I asked if I could at least be prescribed anything they said the doctor wouldn’t see me at all!
How do misdiagnose stomach ulcers when they have stomach cancer? My cousin Randy was recently misdiagnosed at this hospital, told him that the reason he had lost 15 pounds in a week and and sick was he had stomach ulcers! My aunt and uncle took him to Jackson for a 2nd opinion to find out he had stage 3 stomach cancer! How does this happen! We citizens and rural residents of Carthage deserve better!
