I very strongly do not recommend Baptist ENT. The doctor did nothing for my pain, talked to me like I was crazy since he couldn't find any medical reason for it, and charged me $100 the day of so I thought we were settled up. But then I got a bill in the mail for another $414. My bad for not asking first if there were extra charges for the "standard hearing test" but I was in pain and doing what the doctor said he thought would help. I live 5 minutes from your hospital, but you are "out-of-network" for Florida Blue/Blue Select customers, but all of the other Baptist hospitals are in-network which I can use are so far away from where I live which are, " (Baptist-Beaches), (Baptist-Downtown) and (Baptist-Clay)! That's ridiculous! I have had Florida Blue insurance for 4 years now and nothing changes. So if I need a hospital I need to drive to One of your other hospitals or St. Vincents on Belfort. Admitted via ER and admitted to hospital shortly therafter. Nursing staff was great however the level of care and concern at the doctoral level and diagnostic testing level was very subpar. Afer 15 hours of being "NPO", blood sugar falling, raging headache and several false starts I finallly disharged mysef AMA. This facility has no repsect for it's patients and is only interested in exending the process in order to keep overnight guests to generate revenue.
