I was treated at Baptist Hospital ER for possible heart attack and chest pains. I am so thankful for the ER and Cardiology department for all they did for me. A wakeup call and chance to make a difference. A sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses for all they did for me. I feel I was in the best of hands, under their care.
I have never had a good experience here. I was discharged on heavy drugs and left in the front of the hospital stranded. I was not offered to be wheeled out. I had to ask!

Best hospital EVER!!! I've been there many times. And each time, the nurses and doctors were GREAT!!! I wish I still lived in Miami to get the care I need. Here in Tampa, the doctors at the hospitals are horrible. And I went to the ER to get antibiotics for a UTI and they turned me down. If I could I would drive down to Miami just to go to Baptist. They do an AWESOME job!! And really care!! I wish I could find someone here that cares like they do. Kudos to Baptist!!
Avoid this hospital if you have decent insurance and a mental disorder. They will baker act you and essentially kidnap you for days to pickpocket your insurance. The so-called psychiatrist, Dr. Hernando does not visit to assess or evaluate you, but he is more than willing to have you transferred to another facility in a couple of days. Unethical, inefficient, and uncommunicative is what I have to say about the hospital and its policies.

First night post-op and doctor's order stating complete bed rest and no weight bearing, my mother's night was unbearable with the nurses on the night shift obviously not understanding the doctor's order. My mother is a retired Registered Nurse and would not call for a nurse unless it was absolutely necessary, but to be denied the care she deserved is definitely not acceptable. Yo estuve en la Oficina donde sacan los MRI en el BAPTIST de Pembroke Pines, no fui al URGENTCARE. pregunte por el costo de un MRA con contraste para la espalda ( L5 L1 )que me habian ordenado para mi cita medica con el especialista. La recepcionista me comunico que con mi seguro yo quedaria pagando $800.00 Cual seria mi sorpresa que me cobraron $ 5.000.00 por el MRI este procedimiento en A1 IMAGEN me cobraron $1.500.00 en IMAGEN DIAGNOSTIC $1.800.00 el cual no me lo puede hacer en estos dos sitios que ya los he utilizado es... read more
