Baptist is a very good hospital, top notch surgeons and nurses. I am grateful I was operated here I give them an "F" on diet & food. I am diabetic, they knew it, I told them. The first day, after surgery, while still groggy the liquid diet was all sugar: juice, jello with sugar, fruit icy. My blood sugar shot up This is unacceptable. I was very upset, it took a lot of talking to straighten it out The the "cafe con leche" had sugar... the told me they can not prepare it without sugar. The atention in emergency was no so good bad wen them take me in was the perfect atention the doctors the nurse the assistant i wanna thanks all of you.
Definitely not the baptist of before... nurses are short staffed & cleaning is very poor...

I found the West Kendall location was top notch. Nurses were awesome! I cannot praise them enough. I was seen by doctors in a timely manner. Hot meals brought to my bedside each day. I saw many nurses in my 4 day stay. They always treated me with compassion and respect. I wasn't thrilled to be in the hospital, but they made my stay bearable.
