The mist horrible experience my friend has ever happened in a hospital.. 10th floor ..west wing.. last station on that hall.. him being in heart failure and Lymphoma..was wired to the hilt.. He would call for a nurse to help him to the potty.. sometimes took 20 minutes.. he had to wet the bed. Uncalled for! On top of the total neglect., some of the nurses had a bad attitude…really bad! When he finally got his discharge papers it took 2 hrs for nurse to come take his IV out and get a wheelchair.. unbelievable. No compassion a... read more
My experience today was nothing short of phenomenal! I had to go in for an out patient procedure this morning. Every single staff member I dealt with was amazing. They were all kind, carrying, compassionate people with fantastic bed side manners. They made my stay very pleasant and as comfortable as possible. 15 out of 10!
For 2 months straight my husband has been having chest pains everyday and seizures. We went to hospitals and seen doctors after doctors and they neglected him by not properly diagnosing him a few days before his death, he was diagnosed with angina.And we even asked before could it be in angina and without any test or scans they told him "it can't be angina your probably having heartburn" i had to give my husband cpr while the ambulance took their time coming I had the front door open and they seen me doing compressiand they ... read more
My husband Dan had a heart procedure at Baptist hospital yesterday and I saw firsthand what excellence in treatment looks like. Unlike most hospitals which are an endless maze of corridors, because they had cramped buildings added on to them, Baptist is like a 5 star luxury hotel in comparison! Hospitals are very alienating in a variety of ways but this one however is the exception! The cafeteria food was surprisingly acceptable. Not a Jackson's but maybe on par with a Scenic Diner. Debbie a call center receptionist is absolutely terrible. Inhospitable. Rude. Uncaring. She made our experience way more difficult than it needed to be. Very rude.
