In my opinion and experience, Baptist Health’s primary business model is not to provide health, but to bill its customers. It makes sense considering all the new buildings etc (overhead). The heart specialists billed my insurance for 9 months without helping me with my afib. Switched to St. Vincent where I got help in 30 days.
