Dr. James Wright is a terrific doctor, with every quality you could want - he is compassionate, he listens, and he knows his stuff. He is also very cautious, making sure that the treatment will not do you more harm than good. He does his best not to keep you waiting, but sometimes that is inevitable, due to no fault of his own. Emergencies happen. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Wright.

Scale of 1-10 , this place gets an 11. The nurses there are always helpful and I see Amy Davis who is Absolutly amazing. I have suffered from severe anxiety my entire life. Every de wanted to put me on some anti depressant. They all made me depressed. I had never been depressed before, just high anxiety. After trying everything and it all failing I went to see Amy. Who was referred to me by a friend.shes amazing. She listened to my life story and got to know me. She wasn't the normal "in and out" in 10 Minutes Dr. She took h... read more

Hardin Memorial doesn't even deserve to be called a hospital! Their birthplace is excellent, however, the practices throughout the rest of the facility, especially the emergency department are incompetent at best! My sister nearly bled to death waiting to be seen! My mother went in for a gall-bladder removal and nearly died with her liver being cut during this routine surgery! She paid for the gall-bladder removal surgery but the subsequent surgeries and services as a result of the negligence on behalf of the physician opera... read more

Signed in at 12:55PM this afternoon. Filled the paperwork out at 1:50pm. Had blood drawn at 2:10pm. Already sat for over an hour. Now, all the people that were there before me were gone and approximately 15 others that came in, some hours after I was there were taken back. I was told on two occasions how many were ahead of me. To start with, none of the 15 people were behind me should have been taken in before me. And all the others that were there ahead of me were already gone back. I didn't and still don't understand the l... read more

I can tell you from my past experience that I disagree with all the negative posts above. I am one of Dr. Wheeler's first patients - he is a godsend, a great compassionate and very knowledgeable physician.

Saved my mothers life. – Amy found the lump in my mother's breast which resulted in the double mastectomy that saved her life. If you know you are in danger you go to an EMERGENCY ROOM. If you need a primary care doctor you can count on these people to be thorough and professional.

Great care, with the exception of my first night post-op. – In the past year, I have had 2 major surgeries at BHE. There are not enough adjectives to praise my surgeons. Dr. Werner for spinal surgery and Dr. Tien operated on my thumb. Their surgical incisions are very small and healed beautifully and at this time, minimal scarring. I do feel that I need to express my displeasure of the nursing care I received the first night of my back surgery. The night nurse did not check on me at all the entire shift. Luckily my daughter ... read more

Outragous new hippa form – I have been going to J-Town family practice since they first opened their doors, I have had several problems with their billing department over the years and they are always right no matter how bad you show them they screwed up. I kept going back because I really liked Doctor Wright but since they have gone into business with Baptist Works I think I have to find a new doctor. I had an appointment last week and when I showed up to check in I was asked to sign their (Baptist Works) new HIPPA form. I ... read more
