My grandmother in law had a clear case of shingles (that I could recognize as a Pediatrician) and was sent to the Baptist ED from UC due to concern for eye involvement. Not only were they the last to be seen by others who appeared to be lower acuity, but the ED provider told her it was impetigo (incorrect) and sent a prescription for amoxicillin (also, incorrect management). In and out for an ear issue. Staff was efficient and courteous, The NPR who I saw was great, Flu shot did not even hurt. As with all new buildings, not enough parking unfortunately.
